For patients traveling from outside San Antonio, we have compiled a list of suggested hotels for you to stay at while in town to see Dr. Barone. Each of the three recommended hotels are conveniently located in the heart of San Antonio’s Medical Center area, are within 15 miles of the airport, and are between 1-2 miles of the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa center, where our office and outpatient surgery center are located.

While in town, there are several attractions that are accessible to the public year round. The downtown area, which is 15 minutes from the Medical Center, is home to the River Walk and the Alamo. The River Walk, one of San Antonio’s greatest attractions, contains culturally immersed restaurants and shops all in one area. San Antonio is also host to many art museums such as the McNay Art Museum on the north side of town. For the summer months, Fiesta Texas Six Flags and Sea World are both located on the northwest side of San Antonio and are within 10-15 miles from the Medical Center.
