Testimonials QuickLift: Case 11
Description
Dear Dr. Barone, At the age of 61, I have undergone any number of procedures, several major surgeries and delivery of two high risk pregnancies and I have to say that I have been on the receiving end of competent and humane medicine. I addition, I am a health care provider myself, have worked in a major San Antonio hospital for the past 10 years and have worked and interacted with numerous medical colleagues. In fact, I have worked in and around medical education for the past 30 years and have been involved in numerous discussions, formal and informal, on attitudes toward patient care and ethical treatment. In all my experience I have never known a physician, and a surgeon at that, to provide the personal attentiveness and care for my well being and comfort as you have with my surgery this past week. Based on our pre-op meeting, I know that the care I have received is a direct result of your personal philosophy regarding the practice of medicine while many physicians espouse the same philosophy, few actually follow through. For you it appears to be a very natural course of action and part of who you are as a person and a clinician. Thank you
