How ThermiSmooth™ Face Works

She applies a coupling gel to the treatment area, which helps the hand piece glide smoothly over the patient's skin as she makes circular patterns.

When heated to this precise temperature, a unique process occurs within the skin. Epidermal heating creates inflammation, which stimulates fibroblasts to create more collagen over time. Collagen is a protein that supports the skin, giving it elasticity and making it supple. Over time, collagen production decreases and existing collagen breaks down, reducing the youthful volume of the skin.
